A number of new Digital Radio stations will be launching across the North West in the coming months.

A number of small DAB multiplexes designed to cover small area have been awarded by Ofcom as follows:

• Blackburn, Burnley & Darwen – BBD Digital Ltd
• Blackpool – Fun Coast Digital CIC
• Bolton & Bury – Bolton Bury DAB Radio Ltd
• Cheshire (East) – Cheshire East DAB Ltd
• Cheshire (Mid) – Cheshire Radio Ltd
• Congleton & Leek – Moorlands DAB Ltd
• Crewe, Nantwich & Whitchurch – South Cheshire DAB Ltd
• Glossop & Buxton – High Peak One Digital Ltd
• Liverpool – Liverpool DAB Ltd
• Manchester – M&S Digital CIC 
• Oldham & Rochdale – Credible Focus Ltd
• Preston – Preston DAB Ltd
• Stockport – Stockport Community SSDAB Limited
• Stoke & Newcastle-under-Lyme – Alternative Broadcast Company
• Warrington, Widnes & Runcorn – Warrington, Widnes & Runcorn DAB Ltd
• Wigan – Wigan and S Helens Community Media CIC
• Wrexham – Wrexham DAB Limited
